Back on the road and loving it!

Wow, cant believe I have neglected my blog for so long, sorry David about the delay. I am back on the road in the great white north and keeping very busy thats for sure. I am still working on websites and have recently aquired the band "My dog sam" website www.mydogsam.com to create and bring on line; complete with music samples, bios and as much information about this band that I can share with their adoring public.
Like I said I am back on the road with Noranco Transport in Spruce Grove Alberta Canada. I am responsible for their website also and I am back behind the wheel of an awesome Kenworth and spending a LOT of time north of 60. I am thinking we will be busy right into the spring of 2011, so thats great.
I am also looking to relocate my website design and photo-restoration business to Edmonton Alberta and am presently looking for a suitable live/work facility to accommodate myself and my business, so this is a very exiting time indeed.
I want to take this chance to say hi to everyone in my hometown of Hamilton Ont. I miss you all very much and hope to see you all again very soon, but never soon enough. To my one follower of this blog David, thank you for being patient and hanging in their waiting patiently for my next blog post. Your a fine young man David and your mother and I are very proud of all your hard work at school. Keep it up. To everyone else that reads this, thank you and check back soon for more technical updates and stories of adventures on the road .

Till next time, kindest regards, Walter

Sunny Days Ahead

Hi all, Another nice sunny day in southern Ontario, yay!
Sitting in my office writing code . Just moved into a beautiful old Victorian House a few months back and enjoying in a lot. My new office has a nice balcony and I sit about 4 feet from the window, life's good.

Still plugging away in school, I'll be done soon and I'll be looking to keep busy with more code writing, site building mayhem, lol

School is starting to sink in so the stress is lessened considerably. I am having the most fun in my life that I have had in a long while. Feels good to learn something new, and be good at it, if I do say so myself.lol

So, until next time, keep at it, I sure will.

Kindest Always, Walter

A rainy day...

Hi everyone: Well a little rain today gave me the chance to stay indoors and do some much needed updates on my sites. If you haven't been to www.waltermachel.com lately. You should check it out. It's the bottom link above.
I decided to make thinks a little clearer on the links page. I made the font white and the description's a bit more in depth. Makes things easier on the eyes. Trying to make things more "user friendly" lol

The new site is all about web design, but if it's the photography your after, there is a clear link on the homepage to the old photography site.

Not much else new today, just still plugging away at the web design course.

Any questions anytime, the email is on the site, and the phone number too, love to hear from you.
Kindest Regards Always,
Walter Machel

Monday, March 8, 2010

Hello, My name is Walter Machel,

I have been involved in the photography, and advertising industry for over 30 years.

I am exited to announce that I am in the final stages of successfully completing a Diploma in Web Design. I am now able to take that 30 plus years of experience in photographic composition and design that I have learned in the photography and printing business and seamlessly translate it into Web Design.

I am totally on board with this modern advertising medium, and I am very happy to be able to offer my services as a very competent and

W3C Web Compliant, creative, and very capable front end Web Designer. Of course, I can still serve all of my current clients needs for their photographic and design services, with an improved ability to help them expand their advertising in a modern, effective and highly proven manner. Still, with the same quality workmanship they have come to expect from me over the years.

I have been lucky that during my time in school I have been able to take on a handful of quality web design clients. I have been able to create many Web Site Samples for you to visit and explore, some are real clients, and some are what are referred to as "comps" , these are projects built to showcase my abilities with various aspects of web design and website interaction. To showcase my abilities to potential clients and to the world.

So come on in and check out the samples inside and enjoy. If my style of Web Design or Photography suits your needs,or if I can serve any of your Photo Restoration/Retouching needs, then I would love to hear from you.
